MP Urges Leicestershire To ‘Check Out’ Their Ho-Ho-Hearing!

North West Leicestershire MP, David Taylor has joined deafness and hearing loss charity RNID’s call for Leicestershire people to value their hearing health this festive season.

At Westminster, David Taylor alongside 9 other MP’s donned a jolly Santa suit to throw their support behind RNID and to encourage their constituents to value their hearing health this Christmas by taking the charity’s specially developed hearing check, which helps identify whether you have a hearing loss.

David Taylor MP says: “Many people don’t realise how important their hearing is in their everyday lives, until they start to lose it. I’m lending my voice to RNID’s, which is encouraging you to look after your hearing by visiting www.rnid.org.uk/check or dialling 0844 800 3838 and taking their hearing check today.”

RNID’s Chief Executive, Jackie Ballard, says: “On average, people take 15 years to deal with their hearing loss and, in that time, a person’s quality of life can be greatly reduced. We urge people in Leicestershire to follow David Taylor MP’s example and take our check today, so that you can start addressing any hearing loss and ensure you don’t miss out on leading a fulfilling and active life.”
